PAST WORKSHOPS
At NOOOG, we have hosted a variety of small-group workshops and creative experiences with artists and instructors.
PAINTING
A small-group painting experience where participants chose a favorite motif and took time to explore it through painting. Beginner-friendly.
STRING ART
A hands-on string art experience, building patterns little by little by layering colorful thread around nails.
BEESWAX ART
Layer color onto beeswax and press it with heat, enjoying the unexpected forms and colors that emerge in each unique piece.
CRAFT / EDO
Work directly with deer antler, shaping it little by little with files while learning the traditional Edo craft of netsuke from artist Sekine Kabu.
TRADITIONAL CRAFT / WOODCARVING
Carve a small wooden piece using the traditional Murakami Kibori Tsuishu technique known as yagenbori, then finish it as an accessory inspired by a fragment of the moon.
PERFORMANCE / EXPERIENCE
An intimate immersive performance staged inside the exhibition itself, where artworks and physical expression intersect and the audience becomes part of the space.
